As we told the woman from the breakfast staff, the problem in the room was the mattress : maybe too old ? But very dug and uncomfortable, I woke up during the night because of it :-/It is unfortunate because the room (the one with the bow-window) is really lovely : wonderful view, and well decorated. The staff is really nice and the breakfast ok and served in a lovely room with view upon the loch. We enjoyed that ! - R
We have just returned from a very comfortable 2 night stay at The Lochside Guest House. The accommodation is perfectly placed in the lovely village of Arrochar.Right on the edge of Loch Long and very conveniently next door to Ben Arthur's Bothy (well worth a visit for good food and drinks). Our room was spotlessly clean with all the facilities we needed.Breakfast is booked and pre-ordered the day before so it is cooking whilst you help yourself to an assortment of cereals, fruit and fruit juice. There is plenty to choose from.We were pleased to notice that there were guests from all over the world whilst we were there, a testament to how popular this establishment is!Tip: book a room with a loch view. You won't be disappointed.- Helen Goodwin
We were a party of four staying five nights at the Lochside Guest House. Rooms were super clean with unbelievable views. The staff were brilliant, from breakfast, bar and room service, we found them to be helpful and very friendly. We highly recommend this place either as a stop off for touring or a nice little mini break. Thank you to you all!- Philip M
